Welcome back!

Today Americans around the world celebrate the freedom gained two hundred and thirty-three years ago. Irregardless of what you think about the United States, and yes we do have our problems, the freedoms that we take for granted should not be denied.
Many years ago, a young nation stood tall and declared their freedom, and their right to self government. The struggle to get there was at great cost. Many lives were lost in their fight for freedom, and many lives have been, and will continue to be, lost as we fight to remain free.
As Lee Greenwood’s Proud to be an American reverberates through my soul, I am so thankful that I am an American. With all its faults, I still think this is one of the greatest countries in the world.
However you choose to celebrate this day, I hope you pause for a moment and thank those in the past, present, and future that made this day possible.
Have a happy and safe 4th of July.
