As most of us know, the older we get the more difficult it is to lose weight. There, I said it. Unfortunately, it is true. Our metabolism slows down, our energy and desire to work out long hours to compensate for our eclectic eating habits, and our proclivity toward being a couch potato sabotages the best of intentions to shed the pounds we have added over the years.
Many of us seniors are on the fence about all the new technology that is coming forth. Just as we try to learn a new currently hot must-have item, another takes its place, supposedly smaller and better than the one we have not yet mastered.
Such as is the case with the HealthFitCounter. It is a handheld diet and exercise counter that apparently has it all – easy installation of soft wear, great price, and even greater features. Although I do not currently own the HealthFitCounter, I know someone who does and they strongly recommend it to track all our diet and exercise needs. It is a simple and light option that resembles a PDA, has a stylus, and touch screen interaction. You can easily carry it in your pocket or purse, or keep it handy in your desk drawer.
One of the best things about the HealthFitCounter is that it starts with a good size database of food and beverages, restaurants, and exercises. You can easily add to or edit the food database, or add your own favorite foods and recipes. If a new food is introduced at the grocery store, just enter the information off the label and it will be permanently stored.
Touch screen provides easy access to data
The touch screen tracks calories, cholesterol, carbohydrates, sugars, fiber, protein and more, and tracks nutritional intake for last 30 days.
Just add your height, weight, activity level, calorie needs and favorite foods, if they not already loaded. Then set your own personal goals. The HealthFitCounter has an extra category that you can define for such things as Weight Watcher points, amount of water, and other information you may want to keep.
The HealthFitCounter has great features at a reasonable price. It is handy and unobtrusive; you can enter data with just a couple of clicks after each meal. This handheld diet and exercise counter is a great way to keep track of your dietary, exercise, and weight loss goals and progress.
Just click for further information about diet and exercise tools that will help all of us lose weight and get fit.
Now we have no more excuses to keep us from dieting and exercising, right?
